Does any one know how to or had experience getting natural gas service to their house where it is not already in your neighborhood?

Natural Gas

I live down the road from you in Manvel. The nearest gas line is a little over a mile from my home. The gas company told me if no one else want natural gas I would be billed for the complete installation. If one other person wanted service too I would have to pay half of the cost and the other party would be responsible for the other half. Total cost was 15K, I'll stick to propane.

Thanks for the info. That is about what I had expected. I put a call into centerpoint today and their engineers are suppose to call me with a quote.
