I decided to do a little fishing before school started today. I was able to catch about 20 shrimp by bayou vista and headed to the rock jetties on 14th and seawall by 6:00 a.m. The water was great and the birds were really working the bait fish. By 6:45 a.m. I ran out of shimp. I manage to catch 15 speckled trout but only 5 keeper. I must have hit a school because I got a bite on every single cast. First time ever catching that many trout in so little time. Left at 7:00 a.m. to get ready for school. The water still looks good.

Sounds like you had alot fun!
Not a bad morning anyway. Probably makes it hard to concentrate on class after a morning like that.
