My husband is in Galveston for a conference. He is chomping at the bit to fish but can only fish in the evening or very early morning as the conference is going during the daylight hours. sad3sm Seawolf Park is only open during daylight. Any suggestions?

We normally fish the Port A/Rockport area. Kinda at a loss in Galveston. He said the seas are just beautiful today.

Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thank you.

the very far end of galveston on the east side there is a lagoon that holds specks and flounder this time of year along with croaker and sand trout. Plastics for flounder and specks and fresh dead shrimp for croaker and sand trout. I suggest chart./fire tail or plum/chart. swim shad like bass assassins, Flats minnows, paddle tails.
