We are about to leave for some night fishing at rollover pass. I know they do not allow you to carry gas cans with gas in them across the ferry. But will they allow me to carry my generator with gas in it on the ferry.

I think in a previous post someone said you can have 5 gallons. Don't know that for a fact though.

Yes they will. If you want to come by my house and I will loan you a gas can to use while you are here. my phone is 409-684-1320

I know that they will close the gates even with the ferry only 1/2 full if they see a frantic mother holding a blood soaked towel under the chin of a 1 year old baby boy. At least they would in 1962. I still have the scar from that bath tub incident.

Mom said she thought they set the crossing record for speed when they saw us coming.

Of course I have no memory of that incident, just the souvenir scar.
