A close work associate was killed at our work place on Monday. He was 28 yrs old with a wife and daughter. He was apparently a place he should not have been and it cost him his life. This bothers me alot because I fealt as though we were alot alike and I would have possible done the same thing under the same sircumstances.
I am posting this to remind all of you who take what you think are little risks or chances at work, that it is not worth it.
Where we work there is a lot of heavy equipment and moving conveyors and I all ways thought if I screwed up I could lose a finger or maybe a hand or a foot. But the reality is that we are pretty fragile little things compared to multiple ton pieces of equipment.
So just a reminder to everyone, slow down and take your time and do things the safe way. A few minutes of time is not worth your loved ones having to get the worst news of there lives.
