Took a couple of customers out for their 1st-ever offshore trip yesterday. Patrick (Cat-O-Lies) did the deckhand thingy for me and this guy is great. He's truly a wonderful crew member around guests and 1st-timers.

Started at Tall Rock with a 15-18# king and a snake then went to German Charlies where we found a new rock loaded with small snaps. Managed a limit of snaps and then hit the weedlines about 27 miles out. The chickens were plentiful and we boxed about 20 or so before calling it a day. It was incredibly hot out there. Makes me want to go buy one of those boats with A/C...

Great report Jerry. Those seas look marvelous!
Nice trip Jerry! You must have been at GC's later than us. We picked up a few snaps there early. It looked like a parking lot in the afternoon. We had a fighter jet make about 4 passes over us and on the last one he dumped four flares as he climed away from us. It was really cool to watch.
Yeah we saw that also. We were in the 23ft proline. The sonic boom got our attention and 1 time one of those planes came straight at us. What a job. They put a 15-30 minute show. 2-cool!!
