I am looking at trucks, and have decided that I want another PSD. I am looking for a 4 door, 4wd, F250. I don't really care about leather, but require electric doors, windows, etc.

My question is this:

Have any of ya'll bought a new or new to you ride lately, and if so, how was it equiped, what kind of a "deal" did you get, and where?

I bought an '04 F250 PSD, Crew Cab, 4x4, Lariat, loaded out with every option they offered basically. Sticker was around $50k, and I paid about $37k or so at Tomball Ford. I get X-Plan pricing through my company, and worked them down a bit below that in addition.

Try Von Wil Ford in Wharton. Ask for Beaudreux (like Boo-dro). I think his real name is Garrett. I've bought a couple of vehicles from him. Will usually shoot you his best deal upfront. Doesn't make you mickey-mouse around with the numbers. You can tell him I referred you. A friend also buys his trucks from Tegeler, I think in Sealy (bought his last 3 vehicles from him). I will try and get his name and post it later. I got my last truck (2003 F250) from Columbus Ford. But the owners were a client and were selling the dealership so they made me a sweet deal before they sold out. But the diesel mechanic there is real good, if you ever need diesel work.

2004 f150 4x4 ext cab

cruise ,cd player, and aftermarket tint is about all the fancy stuff i put on her and love it. had the spray in bedliner done and while it was there i talked him into gutting the cab and spraying the floor too. probably the best $300 spent. then took it to ziebarts and had em do the super mondo deluxe undercoat/corrosion protection.

bought it from gulf coast ford in angleton. the price they shot me up front scared everybody else so bad they didn't even attempt to undercut the price . even had one guy @ planet ford who asked what price gulf coast was shooting me @ and when i told him he immediately said "BUY IT". wishin4fishin is a very nice guy with connections who may have some leads. i beleive he said he was selling mercury when i contacted him, but he went out of his way to help me out.

Spots, i just bought 2 weeks ago at Helfman Ford, '04 Crewcab 4x4 Diesel Lariat, Sticker was 45,500$ and got them down to 36,000$. The stickers are high on these things but i wouldnt even act like i am seriously going to buy until they get to around 9-10k off sticker. I also got x-plan plus some more off. But i am quite certain they could still get it done without x-plan. This is my 3rd ford and my 1st f250 PSD, i am 29 years old and my wife says i act like a 5 year old on Christmas. I cant wait to get up every morning to go to work just so i can drive that baby!

It is a plan which certain(many) companies are eligible for somehow. The x-plan price is on the invoice, if you qualify for x-plan they have to give you that price, no hassle. I would check with your company or anyone in your family that works for a large company to see if their company offers it. Maybe shadman can explain better. if you look on dealer websites some of them have a link that explains it.

X-Plan pricing is available to Ford commercial partners. My company processes pretty much every credit card, check, and ATM transaction done in the US, so we're a partner of Ford. Continental Airlines is another company that gets X-Plan pricing from Ford. Ford pretty much negotiates contracts for services with large vendors and offers the vendor's employees discounted sales prices in return for lower service rates from the vendor.

Here at my company, we get huge discounts on all American vehicles, as well as most anything else I want to buy. Heck, I got a 25% discount buying something for the wife at Victoria's Secret, a 10% discount at Mobile One (after haggling the price way down anyway!), and a 10% discount on my apartment rent! ;) Some companies have really good benefits! :D
