sorry rigging up. to you question anywhere from freeport to anuac(spelling)
Can't help you there, I fish from PO'C to Port A
Capt. Lowtide, where do you suggest in Port A? Well from the shore in Port A as I do not have a boat. PM if you dont want the whole world to know of this spot or spots (hint hint)LOL. I might be going this weekend. Wahoooo havent seen the salt pond in a very long time now.........................later,Dave
Redfish are still moving through the jetties. If I was going to fish off the bank this weekend, I'd fish the tides with live mullet around the UT dock rocks or close to Charlie's Pasture Pier. The surf would also be a good choice, there is still alot of bait and fish in there and you will be able to stay closer to the cold beer in the back of your truck!

Mouth of Trinity river just out of the park at Fort Anahuac... Flatties are stacked up like pancakes..... Just look for all the other people... Use live finger mullet or Black saltys....
thank you we went and had a hell of a day. Caught 5 flattie's but got rain on and pounded by the wind. started at 4:30 rollover and got hammered in the surf, so we went in the bay side and fished till the weather got really bad and set up a squad tent and relaxed rest of day. after checked site moved quickly. great spot not to crowded. send pics later
