Looking to see if anyone has had any experience fishing the surf Seacrest/Rosemary Beach FL. What baits where used? What type of fish was caught? Any other info would be helpful.

Haven't done that particular Beach but have done from Port St Joe thru Perdido Key and found much the same. Trout, redfish, flounder, ray's, jacks, catfish, whiting, ladies, skipjack, pompano, small/medium shark... Baits range anywhere from mirrorlures and jigs for the gamers to live baits for the others. Shrimp is good for everything! Squid, pinfish, pigfish, greenbacks, weighted trebble hooks for schooling mullet, oh hell it's a smorgishboard out there! Have a ball and catch a bunch!

We fish the surf at Seaside whenever we go. We always catch a lot of spanish mackerel, skipjack, monster needlefish and sometimes pompano. Never catch specks, reds or flounder in the surf. We use our trout tackle, spinning gear and if the wind is down a fly rod is a blast. We use 40# leaders for the toothy fish. A bunch of jig heads and small curly tail gulp in chartreuse or white is our go to. Small spoons also have worked for us. Water is real clear so fish everything real fast with a lot of action. The kids have a blast with the ladyfish. It’s more fun fishing than anything else. Enjoy that beautiful beach with your family. Good luck.

Haven't fish there in years, however most of the replies here are pretty accurate.
Flounder, redfish, lady fish, black drum, bluefish, jacks.
Not a bad idea to bring some smaller swimbaits 3-5" in length. Also some shrimp or crab imitations like the cranka crab should keep you connected.
Focus on the jetty areas, rock piles where there's moving moving and look for the part where the water flushes around the structure. The fish will be most likely staging up there...Tight lines and ripping drags!
