This was the first weekend on the drink for the 28' Mako Flatlined. Day 1 started out by generating some good Karma, JT pullin a Bertram off the bar at the Matagorda cut. Their catch included caught several whaoo, some BF tuna, and a couple of really nice AJ's. They forgot to take a camera, but they ended up taking taking 2nd in the tuna division in the Oilman's tournament.
We took her out again today and the Karma was still with the boat. A TLD 30 freelining a ballyhoo exploded, and after some decent angling bu Chad and excellent boat driving by JT, Flatlined lands a 62 lb hoo, 66" hoo.
Not a bad way to break in a new boat.
