I don't know if you're on the road to go home but I'm concerned about what's ahead of you.
Is everything OK?

We're fine...

Not headed back til Sunday. Got rain and wind in the forecast according to web site but TWC forecast less rain and windy. We had a tougher day casting as the South winds were at least 20 mph sustained. Still caught nice blues again, most in the 2-4 lb range. We've caught a lot of nice fat blues this week and wil have plenty to take home.

We have a severe line of storms about to hit in the next 30 minutes.

It looks like Hurricane Jeanne is now a TS and forecast to turn up in the Atlantic, away from EAST Coast...sure hope so.

Here is our beach forecast next 48 hrs:

Rest of Tonight-Hatteras Island
Mostly cloudy with a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the middle 70s. Windy with south winds 20 to 30 mph.

Saturday
Mostly cloudy with showers likely with isolated thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Windy with southwest winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
Detail

Saturday Night

Gosh, I don't know Fishman ....

I know you're very careful but I believe now is the to be really tuned in to Ivan and Jean. You say Sunday. They say, because of atmospheric conditions, Ivan will be sinking South and could merge with or go separately and swing into land.
One of the bad hurricanes we experienced years ago was when the hurricane looked for sure like it was going to hit Florida it went north, warnings came down, the all clear was sounded, then the hurricane edged east, did a complete loop and came back south and hit us.
Just please watch because it could happen further north.
I keep thinking about you in Hatteras and just wish you were home.
