Thought for the Day

If many of our plastics are more successful with a chartreuse tail, then why do you never see a top water plug with a chartreuse tail?
You can find top water plugs with stripes down the bottom or sides on them but there are very few types of top water baits with a Chartreuse tail.

You can find plugs with a chartreuse head/ black body (she dog) but not a chartreuse tail and black body. You have successful “woody” with a red head and white body but the equally effective plastic counter part is red body and white tail.

Our thought question for the day while you are at work and thinking about fishing is
“What makes a type of color combination more successful one way and not the other?”

Have a Great Day.
