OK...Here's the situation...Don't have to work tomorrow..... took the day off...live in Rockport....Have a new (used) 22' Tran Sport with 150 yamaha and poling platform on the back.....60 gallons of gas in it....wife has the day off also.....kids are going to Vacation Bible school all day starting at 8 am pick up at 5:30....beverages iced down under 60 lbs of ice.....4 new shimano reels on 7 foot Castaways......


I think I am definitely going fishing......


The problem is I haven't been fishing in a while and am trying to narrow down where to go tomorrow...The reefs in Copano are always good this time of year with croaker... but I was considering anything within 40 miles of Copano Causeway...Any pointers????

Check out to see what the surf is going to be doing in the morning. I know of a few guides that went out today and ran up to cedar bayou (throwing croaker) and had no problems limiting out on trout.
