Has anyone ever put one on? Will it work thru-hull on a plastic boat? If anyone has a clue please respond.

Thank you,

Works like a charm...

I put an Eagle Accura 240 on an OK Drifter with the transducer mounted to shoot thru the hull. Worked great down to about 1.4 feet, then it got confused.

I mounted one on my yak and power it with 8 AA batteries. You can buy the battery cradle from Radio shack for a few bucks and they will last about 30 hours or so, depending on the unit. The transducer will work fine shooting through the hull, you just need to make sure there are no bubbles in the adhesive that you use or you will have all kinds of things showing up on your screen. Marine Goop works well for mounting the transducer.
