My son Bob and I fished the 3rd Annual Fish & Fellowship Tournament sponsored by Clear Creek Community Church and Bay Area Community Church yesterday. We fished the North Jetty where my son managed to catch the heaviest fish for the tournament. It was a spinner shark weighing in at 29 lbs. and measuring 48". He caught it on cut whiting while we fished the channel side of the jetty half about half way to the end. Along with the shark, we caught a little of everything including spanish macks, specks, sand trout, and, of course, hardheads. Too bad there wasn't any size to them. No matter, it was great time on the water and a tournament that we'll definitely be fishing again next year.
