There's an old man that sells firewood south of Angleton on "Old Angleton Road. He is on the west side across the RR tracks. You can see the wood piles on the south side of the house.

In angleton next to west side elementary behind smiths grocery on the corner right by the second light when coming in to town from hwy288 on hwy 35. he sells oak and a few others. he sells it by the piece, 1/2 core or core. hes pretty cheap if you ask me. i got 40 pieces of really seasoned live oak friday evening from him for 20 bucks. call him and see what he has left. he had a trailer full of fresher looking wood not to sure how seasoned your looking for

Thanks for the input guys.

I went to the classified ads for the Brazosport Facts on the internet and found "Brazosport Tree Service". Got a cord of the best live oak that I have ever seen for $175.00. Delivery cost was $25.00
