Not sure. I saw the FEMA guy on the news today saying that FEMA would reimburse those who's homes were uninhabitable, but he made a point of saying that no electricity does not make a home uninhabitable, just uncomfortable. I don't know what your situation is financially, I don't know how a "mandatory" evacuation affects the reimbursement, and I hope you are enjoying your stay at the lake.....but are you serious? I am a lucky dog, I have power but no running water. There are many, many, many, many people down here that have neither, those people (especially those in rural areas) are running out of food and water and they don't have enough gas to get to a FEMA Point of Distribution to get their 2 bags of ice and days worth of food and clean water for their families. Not to sound harsh, but is now really the time to start asking about how the Federal gov't is going to reimburse you for your generator and family vacation expenses?
