Chris Jericho - buffet at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, short stocky dude
Nick Foley - San Diego airport gate waiting for plane, fat tall dude
Lance Armstrong - he was a groomsman at friends wedding
Dennis Rodman - Dicks Last Resort in San Antonio and another club in Austin
Billy Casper, Ben Crenshaw, Lee Trevino - clubhouse dining room at Barton Creek during Legends of Golf tournament

Emmit Smith's little mini-skirted girlfriend - early 90's, St. Edwards University, during Dallas Cowboy spring training camp, had a conversation with a "lady" waiting at the entrance to my building before class that told me all about Emmit Smith and how he was coming to pick her up. Sure enough, up drives a little Lexus SC to the curb and the passenger door opens with the man himself driving. Lost all respect after that, especially with the Disney world commercial after the superbowl portraying a family man. I dont care, as long as I dont know about it.

LMAO

Bob Dylan (he looks like walking death), Willie Nelson (shorter in real life), Ray Wily Hubbard (nicest celebrity I've ever associated with), Robert Earl Keen, Larry Joe Taylor, Davin James, Roger Craiger, Kelly Willis, and many others. These guys I remember most while I worked in radio a couple of years ago.

George Strait- met him 4-5 years ago in the old Larry's Tackle Town in Rockport. I was in there shopping for some topwater lures and he came up and we started talking fishing. This went on for 15-20 minutes and when we were parting ways he introduced himself as George Stait...I said like the singer? I did not know he was the real deal until one of the employees there said it was good of me not to make a big deal of his notoriety.

I treat everyone I meet the same, so the names of a few arrogant "famous" persons that I crossed paths with were omitted.

I bet it was cool meeting Willie. I heard a rumor that there was some kind of "Meet Willie Nelson" package being used to raise money for a good cause. I didn't catch the details. Maybe someone else here as heard something about it...

My uncle met George Strait down in Mansfield about 6-7 years ago.
He said George walked by him at the dock with a little bag of fish. He held it up for my uncle to to see and said " Does this look like $ 300 worth of fish to you ?"

Most of the celebrities that I've met have been through horse-related events.

I've talked to George Strait several times, my dad bred a mare to one of his studs. Nice guy. Used to see him a lot when his son was roping at Hi School Rodeos.
Met Garth Brooks at Gruene Hall along with Ty Englund when he just started. I was dating a girl that knew him at OSU.

Jay Novacek and Bill Bates, cutting in Ft Worth. Got Tanya Tucker's autograph there also. Joe Montana at a horse sale. Mel Blount, who played with the Steelers. Super nice guy, he really likes horses. Ray Childress at the Houston Stock Show. He is one big hombre.

I had my picture made with Christie Brinkley. Yes, guys, she IS drop-dead gorgeous. I was absolutely tongue-tied when I was introduced. LOL

Billy Gibbons - met in Galv. at a restaraunt I worked at
Dusty Hill - met at the rodeo in the old (original) hideout
Ken Stabler - met briefly at a club opening that my parents invested in
Vernon Maxwell, Clyde Drexler, Rudy Tomjanovich - served all at various times at a restaraunt
Steve Harvey - restaraunt again
Dominique Sachse - very nice lady. She was in a restaraunt (again) and as she was leaving I told one of my fellow employees - "Hey that looks like Dominque Sachse" - she overheard me and came back and introduced herself.
Nolan Ryan - at the rodeo
Thurman Thomas - (former RB for the Bills) another restaraunt
"Big Daddy" Don Garlits - met him while I was in the Army
George (HW) & Barbara Bush - got to shake his hand when I worked on his campaign for a high school government project. My Ex-wife met both of them at the walgreens near their house.
Met Marvin Zindler once (of course, in a restaraunt)- he's a trip in person

It's Lee Labrada - He's married to my neighbor's daughter. Yes, she's hot...but I've never met Lee.

I was in my neighbor's house a few weeks ago and saw an autographed photo of Lee all "pumped up" and I said..."Hey John, what's with the autgraphed beefcake photo of Lee Labrada?" "That's Robin's husaband"...ooops. I've known John for 20 years, but never realized who his daughter was married to.
