Several months ago I purchased a 21' RFL with F-150 with a trp lower unit. I have since discovered the lower unit has no zinc anode. My question is does anyone have an opinion if its needed (Yes or No). The motor has the standard one located under the trim unit.
I put a pancake one on the lower unit, cavatation plate, and a kind of honey comb one on the hull with a 10 ga, wire on it straight to the battery, that is what yamaha was recomending to help with corriosion.
The motor has one under the side brackets, but in a tunnel boat does not contact water much.
