Ahh, u should've bought a Shallow Sport!
I've got an ole '96 Evinrude 112 SPL that has ran like a top for the past 4-5 years. This weekend we took off from the ramp and it would barely do 3000 rpms. After about 30 mins of idling and trying to get above the slow speed, it slowly started to speed up and finally started to run better. I let it set for 2 days and when we went to head back it wouldn't pick up the whole 8 mile trip back to the ramp.. Any ideas? Kinda thinking there might be something clogging the high speed jets in the carb, since the last time I ran it I actually ran it down to practically dry. Any other ideas would be great before I go tearing into it.
