My prgnostication is:
It's shaping up as a good afternoon/evening for a beachfront wade. Green to the beach with a light onshore wind. Mullet have been rafting all day and prime time is 8:00PM.

I'd join you if I could but I am inland today. My brother in law got into some yesterday evening but quit about 8 pm. Lots of macks, lots of tackle, and a few trout and a few big pulls that were likely sharks. He had a bait rod off the back of his kayak. All fish were caught on purple/white sand eels.

You guys didn't miss much! Small to marginal trout with a couple of 16-17". Nothing on topwaters all on 51MR. The Macks were there however and fun to catch.
Somethings WRONG, cool fronts in August, June bugs now too and no big trout in the surf.
You know it just hadd'nt been the same since them fellers walked on the moon!

I sure hope these early fronts aren't a sign of a hard freeze to come this winter.
What do you think of that cast and blast at Baffin with Aubrey. I'd like to do it and take the JH. What do you think!

I looked at that but unfortunately I go back to college Monday and start lecturing the 23rd. 3 1/2 months off! Where does the time go?
