If anyone needs to retreat inland, we live 7 hours north, have 2 extra bedrooms at the ranch, one rv hookup with electric and sewer. Would gladly offer it , if you need to ride out the hurricane that looks at this time like its most certainly on target for a texas landfall

Gary, That's awesome!

I just posted this in the bluewater board, and hope you don't mind me adding it to your post.

I have room for 10-20 boats up to 25 foot. Please feel free to bring the boat with you and you can leave it at my shop for a few days until the storm passes.

Just give me a call and we'll make what ever arrangements necessary. I would rather them sit safely in my secured storage than take a beating in the storm

Greenie from me! I offered to let anyone store their boat or RV at my place, the problem is I only live north of Victoria and it looks like it's headed my way.

Im located 25 miles south of abilene, I know thats 7 hours from corpus, thats what it takes me to get there anytime i want to go out on the rigs, but it should be well out of the weather, and if anyone is in a bind, there s plenty of room for your boat as well, no covered parking but at least out of the damage area
