JettyJumper, yes Watkins fished the series with Jim Franklin. Should be a good show, the weather was outrageous on Saturday. We had water spouts come down very close to us, and driving rain with very little visibility when sitting still. The camera crew was close by when the water spout came down, they may have some good footage, but maybe not, they ran for port when the really nasty stuff was coming through. We caught our two biggest fish on Saturday in the hardest part of the rain, when fighting the fish in the rain I could barely see my partner at the other end of the boat. Some of the most miserable conditions I have ever fished in. Over six hours of rain, the town was even flooded.

Being stuck in the office finishing the September magazine, I decided to watch the show to break the boredom... glad I did!

Havens... those waterspouts were something dude... the camera with Ruepke and Mendleski (or maybe it was Skipper Mock and Eddie Curry) got some great footage of it, glad I wasn't with them.

Pretty neat when you actually know some of the guys on the screen.

Oh man! That was cold how the winning team pretended not to have a second fish. The team "that was" leading were jumping thinking they won, until the team on stage then reached down and pulled out the winning fish. That was cold. Funny, but cold.

Yeah it was but it looked like when the team measured it, it was over 28 by like 1/64 of an inch. Of course I could only see limited I was suprised it wasn't too big.

I saw that too. I was wondering the same thing. Hmmmm
