Don't know about Ernies' down by Christmas Bay...Hope they're OK. Their phone number is (was?)...(979) 233-5159. I suspect as low as the building sits it may be history but you never know. Over the years I've had a lot of good breakfasts and hamburgers there and caught a lot of flounder with their mud minnows.

I was going to post that question too and also ask if anyone knew anything about the Bluewater Highway...The vidios show the mess in Surfside but don't go up the road to SLP. Did the storm open up any of the old guts from the bays or create any new ones? I know it was under water...hope Ernies and it didn't get washed away.

And I hope "Surfsideperson" is OK.

We have a house in Treasure Island and I spoke to Bill the security guard for the subdivision this morning. He told me aboout five miles of Blue Water hwy has been washed out and you cannot get to SLP.
Thanks, I was afraid of that...Depending on the beach erosion we may be able to drive on the beach around that spot.

Neumie,
Thanks...great pic...Don't see their dock but it's probably under water.
Also if you look out by the road it looks like the red aeroplane sign is cocked off to the side. Wonder when the pic was taken
What is the base web site you found the pic on? Noaa?
Thanks,
Frank
