Me and my buddy had a day off yesterday so we went and hit up east matty. The water level seemed to be up compared to how its been the past couple months. We had 7-10 winds out of the N/NE so we picked a spot on the north shoreline that had a nice sand and mud bottom. we got a good 3 hrs of fishing in before the winds changed to straight out of the east and the whole bay went to chocolate milk within an hour. Managed to get away with a solid 27 3/4" red and a 19" trout. Lots of redfish visually but couldn't get em to bite and we also had quite a few trout short stroke'n us.
