Jimmie Hammond, Chris Mathews and myself made a run over to East Matty Sat morning to get in some wading. Topwater bite was slow so we switched over to tequila gold Norton Sandeels. That was the ticket! We boxed 23 trout up to 24" and one 23" red with plenty of throwbacks. We also released two big girls in the 26"/27" range. We are still wading wet and my camera is not water proof. To far from the boat to take a chance killing them.

great trip! good high tide still, has made for a pretty good bite. the reds are a little scattered though mostly hiding up in the grass, eating shrimp.
