Saint, Trinity is still fresh and don't know anyone thats been fishing it. East Bay is still a little fresh but some have managed a few Trout on the open Reefs. Most of the fish being caught right now are coming from the Jetties and West Bay or the surf.

Trinity a no go

Capt Doug hit the nail on the head. As of 1445 today the Trinity River at Liberty is 20.75 ft, under normal conditions it is around 7-10ft, and the flow from Livingston Dam is 19,700 cubic feet per second and it normally runs around 10,000. So, we might get in Trinity again this fall if we dont get another big rain before then. I was boat riding and snooping last week in the upper end area (Spillway to Anahuac) and it is very nasty looking. It was so muddy the air smelled like mud, and there was lots of trash floating in the water. These events are very good for the ecosystem but they sure do frustrate us fisherman. I looked out into east bay from Rollover yesterday and it was very off color as well on that end. Mid Bay reefs and some fish on the south shoreline have been the most consistent lately. Surf has been real good lately early and late. I zero'd in West last week so I cant help ya there. Good Luck.

Zac
