08/02/2007- went to east bay at 3 am to try out my green light. well it does attract bait but all I got was couple of sandies and a gaf top . tried it at bird island with no result except couple of tiny catfish. went back to original point at 7 am and drifted and managed to get a dozen catfish . I was using pop and cork and dead shrimp. then all things changed when I cast a little to the right . bam , bam , bam , in one hour I had 8 trout on dead shrimp. water kept cool at 84.5 and when it hit 85 it really got slow and back to catfish . I lost 2 trout at the boat so I could had my limit but now I have to go back and try again .. all fish caught in 4ft water drifting over mud and shell

Did you come home and dump out your cooler on the kitchen floor? :)

Nice fish :) I fished under some green lights at the jetties one time and they worked really good. We just would use a little dip net and get the glass minnows that came to the light and put them on our hooks. Worked great!
