250 High Output Engine


This new Evinrude E-TEC 250 High Output (H.O.)
engine is 3.4 liters of displacement delivering more low-end torque than the competition and
bringing the benefits you expect in E-TEC technology like superior lightweight design.

Initial Launch:

BRP is excited to take part in Ranger's Dealer meeting in Branson, Missouri this week where this
new Evinrude E-TEC 250 H.O. engine will have an initial showing on the back of Ranger's
product.
Ranger will be offering a special H.O. order program in conjunction with the initial showing of this
new engine at their meeting. BRP/Ranger dealers should contact their Ranger representative for
more information on how your dealership can order one of these packages.

Consumer Launch Plans:

The Evinrude E-TEC 250 H.O. consumer launch and marine media event to officially announce
the newest E-TEC will take place this fall. A limited quantity of the new E-TEC 250 H.O. engines will be available to full-line U.S. dealers in
advance of the boat show season. A special initial order program is being introduced to assist in
the allocation of these limited Evinrude E-TEC 250 H.O.'

6 cyl.
210 cu. in.
507# for 20" shaft
1.71 gear ratio with new high speed gearcase
50 amp battery charging capacity

At the Ranger dealer meeting, the 250HO ran within 0.1mph of the Merc 250XS on a Ranger Z-21.
