IKE came through Katy like a freight train about 3:30am......heard a big roar and boom ! A 70 foot oak tree crashed in the back yard.....15 feet from the bedroom.

Thank you God !

Guess I was wrong about the pool & patio furniture.....still have the bar!

BigOTex...did yall lose power during the night or were you lucky to keep it going. We're at Fry/West. Prkwy and didn't have any damage, but were out of power when I left this morning at 10am. Lost it around 3am when the main stuff hit.

We are at 1093 and 99 and did ok. Lots of fences blown down, a few split trees and those who had roofs over 10 years old, lost lots of shingles.
