i remember that this was brought up before the wipe out, but i can't remember all of it.

the question is: can the transducer be mounted inside the boat hull?

a good friend of mine has a brand spankin new 19ft kenner and is working on getting it rigged. we would greatly appreciate any advice from those in the know.

Yes it can be mounted inside the boat. It needs to be the thru hull type. If your having it done by where you bought it they will know what to do. If you are going to do it yourself, you mount it in the bottom of the boat and if the bottom where you want to mount it has a rough texture, it will need to be sanded smooth before epoxying it down.
