Hey guys,

Are any of you guys fishing the Deep Sea Round Up. I'm going to be in Port A from the 3rd to the 12th. I'll be fishing in my boat The Captains Playmate, its a 24ft. hydrasport vector. I would like to meet any of you guys that maybe down there. Tight lines to all.

What does it cost to fish the Round Up? Are there a lot of boats your size? Any other info would be great.

It cost 70.00 a person, there will all size boats, it's inshore and offshore.

Go to www.portaransas.org and you can get all the information. this is my first year to fish it. I will be fishing the ska tournament in august.

Won't make the round-up but will be down in Port A July 15-18 to fish the Outboard Tournament. It is a lot of fun too. Meals w/BEER, big raffle and lots of species to target w/ release for billfish. I think it is about 55 or 60 per person. Fishing is Sat and Sunday. Hope you guys this weekend and during the Round-up leave some fish for the rest of us!!!!

Round-Up

I will be fishing it. Will be arriving Tuesday and stay thru Sun or Mon. We run a 26 Century CC with twin Yam 150's and an ugly green bottom. Cost to sign up for tourney is now $90 (after June 15). Tourney pots are where you start spending the money.

We hope to prefish Wed and Thurs if the weather cooperates. How much prefishing are y'all doing?

I'll be prefishing starting Sun. looks like the weather is going to be good. Fishing should be good going start at south baker and go from there.

Sorry. Got sidetracked this week.

Our usual run looks pretty much like everyone else's down that way. Baker, Hospital Rocks and Big Southern. If the seas cooperate and I can keep from pulling back on the throttles around Baker we will gun for E. Breaks area. Maybe 100 fathom curve too.

yeah Scott we'll probably do the same, I have heard of some good fish coming in from just before baker and all the way to east breaks. I think with the weather there should be some good weedlines form. good Luck, give me shout on the raiod ( Captains Playmate) will be monitering ch.16
