I have been using 8/0 Gamagatsu Octopus Circle Hooks until recently had a couple of "NightTrains"bust 'em up...I mean straightened out.I am considering changing to the 10/0 Red Daiichi"Chunk"widegap Circles....Anybody used these or have comments about them.Heard them recommended by some"well versed"catmen on another board.

If you get some, how about buying an extra package for me to try out and I'll pay you when I come fishin' next time? I haven't had any luck finding them.... then again, I haven't looked REAL hard either...

I'll do it,Hawk...They're in the Offshore Angler Catalog.I was kinda hoping someone here has some sort of positive/negative input to help make my impending change to somethin' else easier.

To hear a couple of the guides tell it over at Tidal Fish, the sun rises and sets on those daiichi hooks. I figure it can't hurt to try 'em...

I am sort of partial to Gamakatsu stainless hooks myself, but I heard some good things about Daiichi.

Allot of good catmen use those hooks and love them....I have used them and I like them, just can't afford them......I use the gamakatsu 8/0's....and the VMC Sure Set, there 2x strong and heaviear than the diiachi, and you can get 25 for 10 bucks in bass pro shops

I been around.....haven't had a trny in awhile........my classic will be next Sat. on the 25th....i will keep yall posted.......I use those VMC's in 6/0 -10/0 depending on bait size and they're hard to beat.....and sharp

I have been trying out the circle chunk light for several months now. I am very happy with them.

I am not a fan of circle hooks but this is more like a hybrid between a circle and a kahle.

I landed a HUGE long nose gar the other night with one and it held up well.
