The current and weather this past weekend(Sunday) was horriable. Called for 2 to 3 foot seas not even close, try 4 to 5s and more. The current was as bad as I've ever seen it. My daughter endend up with a ling(25lbs) and a king fish(22lbs). She is fifteen and her 1st time out on the big pond, and she did great under those conditions. Snapper fishing was SLOW.

It is usually that way when the current is up. We had a very slow current in mansfield. At one point we were circling our anchor.....it was weird.

yeah the weather man definatly missed last weekend, we were on an overnighter around tequila and over sat. night winds kicked up and we woke up to easy 5-7's just stacked one after the other. one heck of a boat ride in. In a few weeks it will be so calm we will be begging for the wind to blow just so we dont melt in the heat..
