I purchased a new BOSS fiberglass blind but it has clear glass sliding windows all the way around (7 windows total) and I am looking for ideas for what other hunters are doing to cover these type windows, yet still be able to open if needed. I know I can put card board over them, a towel, duck tape, etc. However, I looking for something that can be used for years. I looked at having my wife make curtains with velcro strips, which would be great, but a lot of work. Send a few ideas. Thanks!

I will install a stainless steel wire above and below the window and make cammo screen material to cover the window and install on the wire. Not sure if this helps. I have also spray painted the windows black and if you want it removed later just scrape it off with a razor blade. The windows need to be glass and not lexan to do this. heck I have even used corn bags to cover windows before. It doesn't have to be anything fancy.

Go to any local fabric store and buy some camo fabric. you can always take it to a drycleaners or seamstress if you do not know anyone who sews.

sticky Velcrow works, wire works, countless ways to mount.

Get you some magnets and material of your choice. Fold over fabric and sew in the magnets. On the Boss blind I think you have metal window frames, if not get magnetic strips and place above window and there you have it. Works great and can remove easily and don't have to mess with wire, sticks etc getting in the way..

Now let me see, they say a deer is color blind and caint see colors. No one knows if it is true or not. Ok so why not blaze orange window covers. Its all about the movement not covering. So when you start moving the window covers to put your gun out what happens ? LOL. Been plenty up close to deer wearing blaze orange and didnt bother them. Come on man . LOL

We switched to fiberglass stands this year too and found the command strip clothes pens super easy to stick on then you can clip any camo material you want up there. Amazon had cheap camo curtains we use. Helps a whole lot especially if your blinds are not elevated much add a drop of super glue to the side of the clip too.
