i was in bass pro shop and saw cottonseed oil for frying turkeys. i have always used peanut oil. does this stuff work. just wondering since it was a little cheaper. thanks.
Yup. I taught rice bran oil every chance I get because of the high smoke point; ~490F, hypo allergenic, and the great benefits of the enzyme that actually reduces cholesterol. But, I wouldn't waste it on frying a turkey.Didn't see anything about Rice oil's smokepoint? Heard it was better than peanut,
canola, and cottonseed. Anybody know where I can get some?
