I know a bunch of yall are in the construction industry. I'm trying to find out what licenses or permits are required (if any) in Texas for a few different things.
From what I've read you need a license to do any electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work. What about the following:
- Dirt work with heavy equipment
- Pool Construction - (not the electrical part doing the lighting and pumps.) Just the digging of the hole, framing, rebar, tile work, etc.
- Building retaining walls
- Landscaping
My boss is building some homes and we want to see what we can build ourselves without actually having a contractors license.
