I have some horrible experiences with Comcast. I won't tell those stories, but I will tell what they did to my neighbor. They haven't had cable, fun, internet ever since the hurricane and have had power since the sunday after the hurricane. So they've been calling them for the last couple of weeks for them to come check it out. Three times in a row they have scheduled a day for them to show up and three times in a row they didn't show up. Come to find out that the last time they were a no show she called them and they informed her that if they get called in for a bigger job that they just don't show up. No call, no nothing. I understand that there is alot of work going on right now because of Ike, but just not showing up and no calling their cell phones is not good business if you ask me. So, now they are dumping Comcast and are going with Dish Network. We have Dish and love it so they decided to do the same. We were only out without power for a day and had our Dish Network service the day we got power. Direct TV isn't bad either, but I just don't like their guide. To me Dish Network's guide is the best in the business and I've seen them all. The channels are arranged such that everything is clumped together by category. Especially for my daughter who likes Disney and such. She goes to channel 170 and just goes up from there. Plus, their DVR is awesome.
