Medical bills are crazy - been in kind of the same boat as we had twins last Oct. The hospital kept screwing up the bills as the twin thing threw them. Then we got bills from any Dr. that happened to walk by the room. Check out the link below from the Federal Trade Commission on the rules:

Inform them that you are familiar with the rules and regulations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

It is against the law ( fair debt collection act) for them to call you at work contact friends family or harass you in any way. Tell them to stop. They can face serious fines for these practices.

I made a huge mistake with one of thise debt free companies that ruined me 4 yrs ago. They use a lawyer to write a letter to the collector to SIECE & DISIST.
