How did those places fair? Anyone know. I imagine the boat houses are done for. But how about he main structures?

My son-in-law said that the only CG building that withstood the storm with minor damage was the old building built late 1800's/early 1900's. He and the other Coasties that parked their personal trucks at the station had total loss AND some lowlife took personal items out of a lot of their trucks while the Coasties were out with their boats.

KHOU ran a quick set of pics by on the TV and it looked like they were back on the base and making repairs. It also looked like they were getting ready to put the Channel Markers back up or had at least staged for that. I would say they were on top of things, at this point.

Which Corps site? My sister works at Wallisville and reported to me that their main building suffered very little damage but the control buildings/systems for the locks are a disaster.
