CMC jack plate still broke. Where can i get the electrical connectors?

This thing is going to make me loose the rest of my hair.
My CMC would go only in one direction.

I have done the following to trouble shoot the problem:
1. Connects the motor straight to the battery. Goes up and down fine.
2. Checked the switch. Switch works fine
3. Replaced both relays. Still only works one way depending on how I have the battery connectioned lined up.

I found the problem. There is a short in the plug connectors for the relays.
I need to get the plug assembly that the two relays plug into. Does anyone where I can get the propper connection?

Thanks

Charlie

Thanks jtburf but I was referring to someplace local, (Houston, Lake Jackson area.)

I was not very happy with Cooks customer service dept.

I really would prefer to do business with someone who want my business. I'm not asking for a freebee, just a little common courtesy.
Electronics store off of westhimer on harwin ? another off 290. Can't recall the names but they got them. Look in the yellow pages?
relay assy

Anyone who sells CMC can get you a new relay/wiring harness for under $100 inc. tax. Easy to replace.
I think they make a switch that will handle the full motor current. You will have to run bigger wire to the switch but it will eleminate the relays.
Mine coroded, had to replace the whole thing, including relays, Houston Marine Wholesale stocks it, costs about 50 bucks.

if you need more info, call me 713-418-0693
CMC is out of Duncan Oklahoma, you can buy direct from them and they are good guys, I had the same problems and put in a new harness solved all probs, I kept old harness and relays for back up , Also if you get in a bind you can tap lightly on the relay and jack plate should go up
Thanks for all of the responces. I talked to Ned at Nedski. He says for about $350 he can retro fit a "Bob's" Hydrolic pump on my CMC.

After reading allof the CMC post, I think that will be a better long term solution to my problem as opposed to dropping $50 - $100 every year.

What are your thoughts?
Bob's

Buy a Bob's jack plate. I have had mine for 4 years and no problem. I had a CMC and was a lot of trouble.

What Ned does is use Bob's Hydrolic pump system on a CMC ram and frame. It replaces all of the CMC parts that usually brake.

I bought the relay assembly for the CMC on my old boat at Napa for less than $20. They also have the relays for about $10. Pull them out and take them up to the counter and they'll be able to get it for you.
7 years with my first CMC, 0 problems, year 6 on this one, 0 problems and it sits 3 feet off the saltwater in a sling.
