Talked to a friend of mine on Thursayd the 2nd and he took his grand kids fishing Wed in Christmas and they brought in 6 Trout and lost a big red at the boat. He did say there was a couple fishing at Christmas point and they were catching solid trout and a bunch of them.
I wade fished the south shoreline of Christmas Bay last weekend and had zero luck. I did hear mention of fishing near Cold Pass I believe and people were catching. I have no boat so couldn't get to it. Good Luck
Waded the south SL this morning after getting skunked at Surfside, cought and released one 21" red and had one blowup on top. water looks ok fishing was slow lol.
Wading around Rattlesnake Point and the North shoreline usually pays off for me this time of year. High tide is best. Bottom line though you gotta find bait, some tidal movement, and just generally 'fishy' areas which is all just fishing 101 i guess...
