fished chocolate this evening, went approx. 500 yards up the bayou from 2004, was out 2 hours and caught 4 slot reds, did not get any pics.
When i got back to the ramp, i saw a guy with 6-7 kids, so i gave them to him, looked like he was having a hard enough time contoling all the kids, and trying to fish too!!
BUT there are fish in chocolate!

Way to go on the Redfish report. Did you catch your Reds around the Horse Shoe area? Anything new and improved about Choc after the storm, besides the fish? Did any of the open bay fishing shacks wash away with the storm?
Thank you inadvance for your intel.

most of the bay houses are still there,i did not see anything out of the norm.
i went out to the intercoastal and came back, i did not go up toward horseshoe bend, went to the barges and came back to fish.

the baitcamp was gone way before IKE.( i wish one was there!)
