After some procrastination and weather radar watching my brother and I decided to brave the rain and fish this morning. We got on the water about 7:00 am and the rain began to fall. The wind was very light and the tide was slow but we still ended up with 5 trout one red and a flounder for the fryer and we were back home before noon. We caught several undersize trout and reds and even a few 3lb to 4lb gaftop.
All were caught on atificial but the fish were feeding on shad pretty heavily.
