After some procrastination and weather radar watching my brother and I decided to brave the rain and fish this morning. We got on the water about 7:00 am and the rain began to fall. The wind was very light and the tide was slow but we still ended up with 5 trout one red and a flounder for the fryer and we were back home before noon. We caught several undersize trout and reds and even a few 3lb to 4lb gaftop.
All were caught on atificial but the fish were feeding on shad pretty heavily.

Glad you guys got out. Sounds like a great day. Were they still pumping sludge in the new spoil areas? Look forward to seeing you Tuesday night at the Park.

Congrats on the flatfish. If you don't mind what did you catch him on? Have a super 4th!
