[Trout Sniffer]

I'v seen some post on here about gators. About 2-3 years ago I would always see about a 10-12 foot gator at the mouth of Ceder Bayou and Mesquite Bay. I was told that he used to be a pet to Mr. Winn that used to own the land and ranch house out there. I heard he used to feed it everyday. One night we decided to camp on that point to the right as you go into Ceder Bayou and he hung around in the water all night long. Of couse we did not sleep at all.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen it around latley. I haven't. Was it caught, or did it die? Just something to discuess.

It moved to Fla. - more tender snorkelers over there.

I wonder if it was the same one that used to hang out in Bray Cove some.

Me and bull minnow saw one way back in Pats bay. We were trying to get into Fith lake and there he was thank God we did not get stuck.

There has been a big gator over by corey's cove mabey he moved.....

Waded the Northwest shoreline of Mequite around the shrimp boat on Sunday. There was a 10' + gator about 100yds from us just floating around. I got about 30yds from him in the boat before he shagged a**. Kinda cool to see! I remember seeing the one hanging around in Cedar cut when running at night. Now that you mentioned it, its been a while since we've seen it .

we have seen gators pretty much everytime we go to Bray this year. No real big ones though...
