cat hulls

I know Salt and Sol's boat is great. I think 23 Shoalwater Cats are great boats. It was a joke. And me and my dad are both owners of that boat to clear that up. I don't think anyone ever said that their cat boat runs like a 24 foot V hull in the really rough stuff but that SCB is the best riding cat boat out there but since there is no perfect boat, it won't be as skinny as a RFL or smaller cat. HTM was running a 20 foot Lake and Bay and that boat can't be that great in the rough stuff either.
I was under the impression the SCB's were the end all be all

i know that SCB's are very nice boats.

fattyflattie, I will be in Port A this weekend if you would like to ride in my SCB, it might make you think the SCB is the end all be all. There are a lot of great boats designs out now but a great design does not mean the finished product is great. One of the reason I went with a cat hull is the amount of deck space. The reason I bought a SCB is the performance it will achieve with a 175 motor it is a 22'10" boat.
Shooks, i would absolutely love to take you up on that sometime. Right now i am in the Bahama's working or i would be all over that. I've actually wanted a ride on one forever, but dont fish the tourneys so dont know anyone who's got one. I have no doubt the SCB's are well finished, fast, etc, however i dont think it will take a chop like my Haynie 23LS, thats all. Everyone talks thier own 40-50-60k boats up, thats easily understood, but i would like to see how the SCB handles the chop for myself one day.

I dont fish the tourneys either, my wife just want to fish this weekend. I will meet you any time you want, let me know what kind of beer I should bring(Bud Light).
I'm dead serious, i would love a ride sometime. I cant think of any other time i would get a ride in an Stingray. Ill bring you some Bud light and Ill bring me a miller or two.

J i think it will take a little longer for anyone on heres rig to get to me right now. If you do come, bring some beer, this Sands is getting old.
