I have had bad experience with those, although I might just do it like that. Figured I would ask the board first.

In the year 2000, I knew a man in Lewisville, Texas by the name of Greg. He was a manager of a carpet cleaning company. He told me not to purchase that cheap carpet shampoo found at grocery stores but instead to seek out commercial cleaning products. His reasoning? He had a lot of experience in the business, and he knows what is effective - especially if your carpet is heavily soiled.
