I have just moved to around Weedhaven TX and I water access to Carancahuna Bay. I was wondering how the fishing is in this bay and what the best way to fish it is? I mainly fish the Laguna Madre and this bay looks like a whole different type of fishing. Any advice and tips is greatly appreciated!

I've grown up fishing in Carancahua Bay. The best areas I've found are salt and redfish lake on the west side although you will need a kayak or boat to get there.
Just down the road is Keller Bay (Olivia) which has much better fishing. There is also multiple areas you can wade fishing from the bank. I'll attach a video below if a wade we had in Keller just off the kayak launch.

In the winter with a north wind and no fresh water coming down the river the north side of the bay will be trout green and you can fish it from BlackStone Reef all the way to the pass.
