Left out of the marina at 5:00 am Saturday headed for big southern, hoping for blue water and nice fish. Arrived at southern to find cobalt blue water, started trolling and caught a couple small sharks. Started to wonder if there was any quality fish, then the next pass around wifey was hooked up, got the fish up it was a very nice 20lb. blackfin, next pass hooked up again this time it was a nice 20lb. dorado that was so hungry that it ate 2 baits. Next pass another dorado this one was 35lb. both were cows, then the bite turned off so we headed to the rocks for snapper. The current was so bad you couldn't get 12 oz. down, so gave that up and started drifting for kings, caught 2 kings. then headed for rigs closer in stopped at about 20 miles and started trolling and had a sailfish come up behind the baits, but couldn't entice it to hit. started to get windy so headed back to shore to grill some fish. See attached pic of the catch and wifey and friends.

Wahoo Man: We saw you on the water last Saturday afternoon. It seems somewhat ironic to see you standing next to the large CCA sign on the right side of the picture. Next time you are in Port Aransas take a few moments and read what the sign says. The sign suggests you should act like a responsible and couteous sportsman and not crowd other fishermen since the bays and ocean are large places. There is no need to act in a beligerant manner on the ocean and force me to have to choose between either running over your trolled lines or risk having my boat being pushed into the rig. It is uncommon and unfortunate to meet a fellow sportsman that does not act in a safe and considerate manner.

Hey I'm not sure what boat you were in and were at but if you feel like I was too close I,m truly sorry because I do not try to impede any bodies space. Next time you see me come over and we can talk about it. again sorry if you feel like that.
