It was a fun week of chasing reds from the tower. Good sun and light winds made these fish pretty active. Most of the fish were spotted in 3-4ft of water and would come up to the shelf along the bank to grab a quick meal. The small pods on the other hand found tuck up under the mangrove right against the bank rooting around.

Armed with our Laguna 7'6" Liquid series rods and Down South Lures 4" watermelon, burner shad color x, and a 1/4oz Owner Cutting Point screw lock jighead, we were able to trick 10-20 fish per day to hitting. Most all the fish were released for another day.

Our Navigational Trips aim at helping you not only get accustomed to your boat, but we help you get familiar with new areas to fish and broaden your knowledge of the bay systems.
